Optimal Endorsement for Network-Wide Distributed Blockchains

Blockchains offer trust and immutability in nontrusted environments, but most are not fast enough for latency-sensitive applications. Hyperledger fabric (HF) is a common enterprise-level platform that being offered as blockchain-as-a-service by cloud providers. In HF, every new transaction requires preliminary endorsement multiple mutually untrusted parties called organizations, which contributes to the delay storing blockchain. The xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">endorsement policy specific each application defines required approvals xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">endorser peers (EPs) of involved organizations. this article, given an input , we studied optimal choice distribute endorsement requests proper EPs. We proposed OPtimal ENdorsement (OPEN) algorithm, devised minimize latency due both network delays processing times at By extensive simulations, showed OPEN can reduce latency up 70% compared state-of-the-art solution approximated well introduced policies while offering negligible implementation overhead them.
